Honeywell Fire Alarm Technician in Didsbury, United Kingdom
We have an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to join us at Honeywell, in the North West, where you will be responsible for the maintenance, testing, and repair of fire detection and alarm systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites for our customers ensuring that all systems remain fully operational, compliant with relevant standards, and capable of protecting life and property. This is a field-based role covering our clients across the North West area to include Greater Manchester, Crewe, the Lake District and occasionally North Wales.

Service, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and associated life safety equipment on customer sites
Conduct routine inspections and testing in line with BS 5839 and other applicable regulations.
Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions efficiently
Complete detailed service reports, certificates, and documentation and provide technical support and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance
Liaise with customers professionally to maintain strong working relationships.
Past experience working with addressable and conventional fire alarm systems
Strong understanding of BS 5839, and other relevant standards
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications
Excellent fault finding and problem solving skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Full UK driving licence.
