Receiving
Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive materials into the plant and prepare for stocking.
Will work with the receiving clerk and other departments to ensure all shipments are off loaded in a timely manner.
Maintains any paper work obtained from the freight lines and turns into the appropriate person.
Quantity verification of Bill of Ladings that you sign for from trucks received.
Responsible for ensuring items received are cataloged in the designated areas, per 5S and visual workplace standards.
Cleaning
Operates various powered floor scrubbers to maintain a reasonably clean floor.
Checks equipment to make sure it is operating at peak efficiency.
Follows safety guidelines and safe operating parameters set forth by equipment manufacturer.
General
Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.
Maintains daily sign off sheet for all equipment operated
Follows standard operating and safety procedures.
Keeps area safe, clean and organized.
Performs other related duties as required.
Core Competencies include good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Accurate measurement capability. Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner. Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.
