Maintenance Technician's Needed in Dickson 1st & 2nd Shift up to $34/hr!
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician where you will be responsible for the setup and maintenance of machines and equipment, as well as responding to emergency breakdowns. You will play a vital role in the design, installation, and movement of machinery, ensuring that all equipment is safe and efficient.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain machines and equipment, and respond to emergency breakdowns throughout the plant.
Participate in new design, installation, and movements of existing machines; overhaul and repair machinery and equipment.
Ensure the safe working conditions of all machines and equipment, ensuring their efficiency.
Identify and determine the causes of machinery faults and implement cost-effective solutions in a timely manner.
Demonstrate competencies through online third-party assessments.
Essential Skills
Formal qualifications in a relevant trade.
Sound decision-making skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, suppliers, and contractors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of PLC and CNC systems.
Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with single-phase/three-phase electrical circuits, welding, test rigs, and general engineering machinery.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate from community colleges or trade schools.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (state-specific).
PLC certifications from Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or vendor-specific.
HVAC/R certification (EPA 608).
Welding certifications from AWS.
Mechanical or relevant apprenticeship.
