Maintenance Technician Needed in Dickson, TN!
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and maintaining machines and equipment, responding to emergency breakdowns, and ensuring safe and efficient operations throughout the plant. The position requires involvement with the design, installation, and movement of machinery, as well as their overhaul and repair.
Responsibilities
Set up and maintain machines and equipment.
Respond to emergency machine breakdowns across the plant.
Participate in the design, installation, and movement of existing machines.
Overhaul and repair machines and equipment to ensure safe working conditions.
Identify and resolve faults in machinery and equipment cost-effectively and timely.
Demonstrate competencies via online third-party assessment.
Essential Skills
Sound decision-making skills.
Formal qualifications in a relevant trade.
Good communication skills for effective contact with staff, suppliers, and contractors.
Systematic approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work both independently and in a team with minimal supervision.
Knowledge in PLC and CNC.
Understanding of mechanical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with single phase/three phase electrical circuits, welding, HVAC, and plumbing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate from community colleges or trade schools.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license (state-specific).
PLC certifications (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or vendor-specific).
HVAC/R certification (EPA 608).
Welding certifications (AWS).
Completion of a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment that is organized and clean. The shifts are from 7 AM to 3:30 PM for the first shift and 3 PM to 11:30 PM for the second shift, with a shift differential offered for the second shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dickson, TN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
