Martin Construction Inc. (MCI) Dickinson ND, is looking for a versatile and highly-organized Human Resource Manager. This position offers an opportunity to shape our company's HR strategy, while fostering a dynamic work environment that promotes growth and excellence across all departments. The successful candidate shall provide an employee-oriented culture utilizing company goals. MCI would like this position to be filled by May 7th, 2026.

Human Resource Manager Responsibilities:

  • Assume the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability of directing the Human Resource Department

  • Lead employee recruiting process

  • Oversee orientation of new employees

  • Ensure compliance with all government reporting and policies and industry standards

  • Maintain employee benefit programs

  • Uphold professionalism regarding all employee and corporate issues

  • Represent the organization at job fairs by coordinating and setting up recruitment booths, engaging with candidates, and promoting employment opportunities .

    Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of human resources management practices, including talent acquisition, benefits administration, performance management and employee relations.

  • Administer HRIS systems such as Vista for reporting and HR data management.

  • Exceptional communication skills for engaging employees at all levels and managing conflict resolutions professionally.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Recruiting, Human Resources Management, Benefits Administration, Performance Management, Communication Processes, Compensation and Wage Structure, Supports Diversity, Employment Law

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or related curriculum

  • 2+ years HR experience in a construction environment is preferred

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills

  • Benefits/Wage:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Benefits, 401K Retirement Plan. Salary range is $85,000 + dependent on experience.
