US Staffing Agency CNC Operator/Programmer (Dexter) in Dexter, Michigan

This position requires a person who is quality conscious and mechanically inclined. Willing to work in a team atmosphere. A very good attendance record and the ability to work on your own and take the initiative to complete the required tasks in a timely and organized manner. Also, good communication skills and a positive attitude are important.
Shifts: 1st shift 6am - 4:30pm, 2nd shift 4:30pm - 2:30am
Pay: $20 - $24/hr based on shift/experience
CNC Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities and Duties:
- Must have prior CNC experience
- Produce quality parts and maintain production levels.
- Ability to diagnosis mechanical difficulties and perform trouble-shooting
- Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of CNC machines and inspection boxes.
- Continuously stock machines with production materials as required.
- Change tools, drills and inserts in machine as needed.
- Knowledge and skills to read blue prints required
- Basic computer skills required
- Knowledge and skills to read micrometers (o.d. mics, i.d. mics, calipers) required
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Complete other duties as assigned.
CNC Required Abilities:
- Able to read and understand Blue Prints
- Able to read Measuring Equipment such as Micrometer, Caliper, Profilometers and Comparators.
- Able to work overtime as needed, if required.
