Pay Range: $24.60 - $33.28/hour

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of landscape crews, ensuring efficient completion of projects related to landscaping, hardscaping, planting, outdoor lighting, and water feature installation.
  • Oversee landscape construction projects from start to finish, including site preparation, planting, hardscaping, and drainage.
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
  • Provide technical guidance on horticulture practices, landscape install techniques, and plant health management.
  • Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
  • Conduct inspections of ongoing work sites to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions promptly.
  • Mentor team members by providing training on landscaping techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and customer service excellence.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to equipment including, cleaning air filters, greasing, and notifying management promptly when an issue develops.
  • Act as the primary liaison between management and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Proven supervising experience in landscaping projects with a strong understanding of horticulture principles.
  • Hands-on experience in hardscaping, planting, drainage, and lighting installation and maintenance.
  • A background in horticulture or related fields is preferred, and relevant certifications are a plus.

     

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities (SKA) Required:

  • Knowledge of construction processes related to outdoor environments, such as hardscaping or site grading.
  • Familiarity with landscape equipment operation and safety protocols.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, team members, and vendors.
