THE PAY RATE FOR THIS ROLE IS $25.00 - $32.00 per hour and you must come with your own tools as per industry standards .
Job Summary
The Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing LANDSCAPING machinery like mowers, backpack blowers, string trimmers, etc. There may be times you will need to use a company vehicle to go to a site or another location to pick up or fix equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of large and small engines
Provide information and reports on equipment
Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience with basic truck and vehicle maintenance and repair
Small engine, 2-cycle
Diesel Engine, heavy and light equipment
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
Welding experience
Physical Demands/Requirements:
Regular Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
Repetitive movement: standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, stooping
Work Environment:
Noise level in work environment is usually moderate, and Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including sun, rain, cold
