How you create impact

As a Sea Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you’ll be the frontline connection for our customers—delivering exceptional service, solving challenges with creativity, and collaborating across teams to ensure a seamless experience. This is a dynamic, results-driven environment where exceeding expectations is the norm.

  • Respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and empathy across all communication channels.

  • Provide accurate and timely information regarding customer accounts, products, and services.

  • Handle escalated issues with tact and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with internal teams—including Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Technical Support—to resolve issues and enhance the customer experience.

  • Document all customer interactions in the customer service management system with accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Meet or exceed performance goals related to response times, customer satisfaction, and quality metrics.

  • Build and maintain strong operational relationships with customers through proactive communication and regular outreach.

  • Ensure all customer emails are processed as KN Service Moments and that customer needs are addressed promptly.

  • Process shipment files accurately by following all policies and procedures while maintaining real‑time visibility of shipments.

  • Monitor and prioritize customer-specific requirements to ensure timely and effective support.

  • Complete Customer Profiles (CP), Business Profiles, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) following initial customer meetings.

  • Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to meet service commitments by analyzing KPIs and implementing corrective or preventive actions.

  • Work with system process teams to increase automation and improve Operational Care workflows.

  • Review and process incoming invoices, acknowledging or disputing them within the accounting system (Acon New).

What we would like you to bring

  • 1+ years of freight forwarding experience, preferably in seafreight exports.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to problem‑solve and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to high service standards.

  • Willingness to learn, improve processes, and embrace change.

  • Proactive approach to enhancing workflows and supporting team needs.

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.

  • Awareness of financial considerations in operational decision‑making.
