ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer in Detroit, Michigan
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing organization , is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer , you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Department supporting the Engine Assembly and Manufacturing Engineering teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills , attention to detail , and excellent cross‑functional communication abilities , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Onsite – Plant Environment
Pay Range: $38 - $43
What’s the Job?
Coordinate quality objectives with manufacturing, engineering, and other cross‑functional teams
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including error‑proofing and mistake‑proofing efforts
Analyze assembly process data and SPC trends to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Utilize Advanced Quality tools such as PFMEAs to ensure a robust assembly process
Drive quality issues to closure through established quality feedback loops
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
Experience analyzing SPC data and supporting process improvements
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
