ManpowerGroup Quality Engineer II in Detroit, Michigan
Our client, an automotive manufacturing company , is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer , you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Department supporting the Engine Assembly and Manufacturing Engineering teams . The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills , attention to detail , and effective cross‑functional communication , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Quality Engineer
Location: Onsite – Plant Environment
Pay Range: $38 -$43
What’s the Job?
Coordinate quality objectives with manufacturing, engineering, and other departments
Drive continuous improvement through error‑proofing and mistake‑proofing initiatives
Analyze assembly process and SPC data to identify trends and potential concerns
Drive quality issues to closure using established quality feedback loops
Support quality activities directly on the engine assembly floor
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or plant environment
Experience using Advanced Quality Tools (PFMEAs, SPC)
Knowledge of GD&T and CMM operations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
