ManpowerGroup Material Flow Supervisor in Detroit, Michigan
Our client, an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Flow Supervisor to join their team. As a Material Flow Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Materials, Logistics, and Assembly Line teams . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , attention to detail , and problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Flow Supervisor
Location: Detroit, MI
Pay Range: $25 - $29 H/r
What’s the Job?
Coordinate in‑plant material flow from the receiving dock to the point of use on the assembly line
Maintain inventory accuracy, shipping records, and material movement for raw materials
Review daily operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve issues
Maintain standard processes for material technicians and team leaders
Prepare and maintain production, inventory, and personnel reports
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
5–7 years of relevant experience (or 8+ years in lieu of a degree)
Experience supervising shop floor employees in manufacturing or logistics environments
Strong understanding of material flow, production processes, and quality control
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
