ManpowerGroup Material Flow Supervisor in Detroit, Michigan

Our client, an automotive manufacturing organization, is seeking a Material Flow Supervisor to join their team. As a Material Flow Supervisor, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Materials, Logistics, and Assembly Line teams . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills , attention to detail , and problem‑solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Flow Supervisor

Location: Detroit, MI

Pay Range: $25 - $29 H/r

What’s the Job?

  • Coordinate in‑plant material flow from the receiving dock to the point of use on the assembly line

  • Maintain inventory accuracy, shipping records, and material movement for raw materials

  • Review daily operations and collaborate with technical and administrative teams to resolve issues

  • Maintain standard processes for material technicians and team leaders

  • Prepare and maintain production, inventory, and personnel reports

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience

  • 5–7 years of relevant experience (or 8+ years in lieu of a degree)

  • Experience supervising shop floor employees in manufacturing or logistics environments

  • Strong understanding of material flow, production processes, and quality control

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
