Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our equipment and building systems function optimally. The role involves conducting inspections, performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and participating in equipment fabrication. You will also play a key role in training new team members on machine operation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Train team members on proper equipment operation and provide assistance with inquiries.

  • Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on machines and building systems.

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including responding to emergency work orders.

  • Read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Propose improvements to enhance preventive maintenance processes.

  • Assist in equipment fabrication tasks such as welding, cutting, and drilling.

  • Maintain clear and accurate records of repair work and update project progress.

  • Replace machine parts as necessary during repairs.

  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team members to plan and execute repairs.

  • Participate in committees or activities as needed.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Approximately two years of technical training and three years of hands-on maintenance experience or equivalent skills.

  • Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and troubleshooting.

  • Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Around three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

  • Comprehensive understanding of safety practices and proper PPE use.

  • Competent in using computers for documentation.

  • Capacity to follow instructions and communicate effectively.

  • Willingness and ability to train new team members.

Work Environment

The position offers openings on all shifts: 1st (7am - 3:15pm), 2nd (3pm - 11:15pm), and 3rd (11pm - 7:15am). You may be exposed to various weather conditions, with noise levels typically being moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $83200.00/yr.
