Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure our equipment and building systems function optimally. The role involves conducting inspections, performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and participating in equipment fabrication. You will also play a key role in training new team members on machine operation and safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Train team members on proper equipment operation and provide assistance with inquiries.
Perform routine inspections, cleaning, and preventive maintenance on machines and building systems.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including responding to emergency work orders.
Read and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Propose improvements to enhance preventive maintenance processes.
Assist in equipment fabrication tasks such as welding, cutting, and drilling.
Maintain clear and accurate records of repair work and update project progress.
Replace machine parts as necessary during repairs.
Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and team members to plan and execute repairs.
Participate in committees or activities as needed.
Essential Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
Approximately two years of technical training and three years of hands-on maintenance experience or equivalent skills.
Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, preventive maintenance, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and troubleshooting.
Experience in industrial maintenance, automation, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Around three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Comprehensive understanding of safety practices and proper PPE use.
Competent in using computers for documentation.
Capacity to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Willingness and ability to train new team members.

Work Environment
The position offers openings on all shifts: 1st (7am - 3:15pm), 2nd (3pm - 11:15pm), and 3rd (11pm - 7:15am). You may be exposed to various weather conditions, with noise levels typically being moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $83200.00/yr.
