Warehouse Supervisor - Full Time
Feldco Windows, Siding, Doors & Roofing located in Des Plaines, IL is looking for a Full-Time Warehouse Supervisor to join our successful, highly motivated team at Feldco, a rapidly growing home improvement services company currently expanding throughout the Midwest. We are the region’s replacement windows, siding, and doors leader with 50 years of experience in delighting customers by making home improvement projects simple.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This position would require a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Position Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm; 30 min lunch; Occasional Saturdays.
Weekly overtime may be required based on workload.
Must be available for at least two potential Saturday shifts.
Location: 125 E Oakton St Suite 101, Des Plaines, IL 60018.
Pay Range: $25/Hour.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Receive, inspect, inventory, and stage products with a high level of accuracy.
Oversee unloading of deliveries, ensuring products are accurate and free from damage.
Distribute incoming deliveries and communicate product arrivals to Operations staff.
Stage materials daily to support efficient installation pickups.
Coordinate and schedule warehouse staff based on product arrivals and workload.
Maintain and reorder inventory stock as needed.
Ensure a safe, neat, and compliant work environment at all times.
Provide hands-on support to warehouse staff and assist with daily operations
Support facility needs as required, including office moves, light maintenance, and general upkeep.
Contribute to process improvements, including development of inventory management systems.
Follow established daily routines, procedures, and operational standards.
Lift and move materials weighing 50-100 lbs on a regular basis.
Position Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with ability to operate company vehicles for material transport.
Ability to lift and move 50-100 lbs regularly.
1+ year of experience in a Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership role.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Some Lean Six Sigma knowledge.
Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Hands-on and comfortable with basic maintenance tasks (e.g., changing light bulbs, moving furniture, minor facility upkeep).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years in a leadership role.
Associate degree or Technical/Trade Certificate is preferred.
A bachelor's degree is heavily preferred.
