ManpowerGroup Process Technician – Vacuum & Gas Systems in Des Plaines, Illinois
Our client, an advanced manufacturing and engineering organization, is seeking a Process Technician – Vacuum & Gas Systems to join their team. As a Process Technician , you will be part of the Manufacturing & Process Engineering Department supporting Production Engineering and R&D Teams . The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently , which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Process Technician – Vacuum & Gas Systems
Location: Lathrop, CA
Pay Range: $45/hr (negotiable based on experience)
What’s the Job?
Support manufacturing and R&D operations by sustaining and optimizing vacuum and gas management processes
Troubleshoot and resolve out-of-control processes to minimize downtime and scrap
Lead disposition and documentation of non-conforming materials
Conduct experiments, analyze data, and summarize results for engineering leadership
Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to improve yield, reliability, and safety
What’s Needed?
3–5 years of experience with vacuum systems and gas management in a manufacturing or R&D environment
Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or gas systems
Experience conducting experiments and analyzing process data
Ability to document findings and communicate results clearly to technical stakeholders
Associate, Bachelor’s, or Graduate degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
