Occupational Therapist – $59/hr + $1,000 Bonus – Des Plaines, IL – 10-Week Assignment
Position Overview:
The Occupational Therapist provides school-based evaluations, develops individualized treatment plans, delivers therapy services, and maintains documentation in alignment with each student’s plan of care and professional practice standards. This role supports students’ fine-motor, sensory, functional, and academic-access needs across the school environment.
Assignment Details:
Location: Des Plaines, IL
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Duration: 10 weeks
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Hours: 32 hours per week (7:20 a.m. – 2:35 p.m.)
Pay Rate: $59/hour
Bonus: $1,000 completion bonus
Modality: In-person
Openings: 1 position
Details of Assignment:
Caseload of 42–50 students
Provide fine-motor and sensory processing support
Conduct evaluations and write reports as needed
Collaborate with IEP teams, families, and staff
Support functional, sensory, and participation-based goals
Virtual interview required
Responsibilities:
Conduct OT evaluations, including fine-motor and sensory profile assessments
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct therapy services to support student access to curriculum and daily routines
Collect and analyze data on IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and service providers
Maintain compliant documentation and progress notes
Requirements:
Active Illinois OT License (CBOT)
One year of pediatric or school-based experience preferred
CPR, TB screening, and health certificate if required
Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years old
