Job Title: Medical Writer III

Location: 1300 East Touhy Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60018-3315

Duration: 6 Months

Work Arrangement: 100% Onsite

Pay Range: $60 - $65 per hour (W2)

We are seeking a “Medical Writer III” to join one of our leading healthcare clients.

Position Summary

The Medical Writer III is responsible for developing high-quality technical and regulatory documents to support domestic and international submissions. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret complex data, and expertise in preparing compliant scientific documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Author detailed and accurate technical documents to support regulatory submissions across global markets

  • Incorporate data, including graphs, charts, tables, and statistical analyses, from approved source materials

  • Proofread, edit, and compile submission documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance

  • Review and verify documentation for completeness and adherence to submission requirements

Focus Area

  • Primary focus on EU IVDR (In Vitro Diagnostic Regulation) submissions

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in medical writing or regulatory documentation

  • Strong expertise in preparing and editing scientific and technical reports

  • Ability to interpret complex data and present it clearly in structured documents

  • High attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
