Robert Half Sr. Financial Analyst in Des Moines, Iowa

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting and optimizing financial systems and processes, ensuring efficiency in areas such as accounting, budgeting, and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Support the organization’s financial systems and processes, including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance.

• Assist in the design, implementation, and enhancement of financial accounting, planning, and reporting systems.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between finance, accounting, and IT systems.

• Provide expertise during financial system upgrades and enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Monitor and evaluate financial processes to ensure compliance with governance and risk management policies.

• Contribute to the month-end close process by ensuring accurate financial data and reporting.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Act as a liaison between finance, IT, and other departments to address system-related issues and enhancements.

• Train team members on financial systems and provide ongoing support as needed.

• Prepare and present reports to stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations for decision-making. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in financial systems analysis or a similar role.

• Proficiency with Oracle or similar financial systems.

• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and month-end close processes.

• Experience with financial system implementation or upgrades.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
