Description We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Des Moines, Iowa. In this role, you will play a key part in driving financial planning and analysis processes, offering strategic insights to business leaders, and ensuring effective financial governance. Responsibilities:
• Oversee financial planning and analysis functions for assigned business units, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis efforts.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to guide strategic decision-making.
• Act as the primary financial partner for business leaders within designated areas.
• Collaborate with accounting, business units, and leadership teams to align on financial objectives and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and financial governance standards.
• Review and manage Authorization for Expenditure forms and intercompany allocations.
• Support contract administration, ensuring alignment with budgeting and accounting requirements.
• Lead and contribute to company-wide financial initiatives and special projects.
• Develop and refine financial processes, reporting mechanisms, and system integration efforts. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
• Familiarity with data mining techniques and financial systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial governance practices.
• Experience managing enterprise-wide financial initiatives or projects.
