The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead analyzes and forecasts financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions. The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.
The Financial Planning & Analysis Lead collects, compiles, verifies, and analyzes financial information and economic indicators so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making strategic and operational decisions. Analyzes revenues, expenses, costs, prices, profits, and inflation rates. Develops financial modeling and reporting in support of budgets and forecasts as well as financial analysis to drive strategic decisions. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision. Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.
As part of Centerwell Pharmacy, this role will be responsible for all aspects of the Specialty Pharmacy P&L including but not limited to:
Responsible for budgets and forecasts along with reporting and analysis of actual costs. This includes both admin expenses as well as revenue and cost of drugs.
Creating and modeling drug level gross margin projections for a complex business, supporting varying contracts, changing business environment, and regulatory changes. Requires partnership with operations, analytic teams and leaders across pharmacy.
Creating drug level profitability models, which involves understanding gross margin components as well as level of effort and costs associated with each drug dispense. Working closely with operations, this work is critical in supporting the strategy to drive growth and profitability.
Presentation of financial results to leaders, including monthly financials, budgets, drug level analysis as well as other data to drive strategic decisions. Requires strong knowledge of the business, ability to connect interdependencies across the enterprise and condense data into materials appropriate for the audience.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
8 or more years of finance and/or accounting experience, or equivalent
Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Powerpoint, Excel), with strong proficiency in Excel
Experience with Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan or other similar tools
Ability to lead and manage special projects and multiple priorities
Budgeting and Forecasting experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in working with large data sets, querying, or consolidation of results for reporting; exposure to SQL or querying tools
Additional Information
Preferred Location - KY or IN, Hybrid Office position, requiring 3 days in the office each week in Louisville, KY. However, will consider Nationwide Remote.
Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$104,000 - $143,000 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
