• Manage prototype vehicle usage for chassis testing, working closely with vehicle-level integration and fleet operations teams.

• Drive debug and root cause investigations for chassis-related software/hardware issues.

• Collaborate with suppliers to manage ECU software releases, diagnostics, and interface definitions.

• Partner with domain calibration teams to ensure vehicle attributes (brake feel, steering response, stability performance) are achieved.

• Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and validation standards (ASPICE, FMVSS, etc.).

• Develop and report on chassis software maturity metrics to leadership.

• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering growth and cross-functional collaboration.

• Support proving ground, winter test, and internal vehicle demo campaigns.

You'll have…

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or related field.

• 8–12 years of experience in chassis software integration, controls, or systems engineering, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.

• Strong technical understanding of chassis control systems (brakes, steering, EPB, TPMS, stability control).

• Experience with prototype vehicle bring-up, software flashing, and diagnostics.

• Proficiency with automotive tools and protocols (CAN, UDS, DoIP, Vector CANoe/CANalyzer/CANape).

• Familiar with calibration processes and vehicle-level attributes tuning for chassis systems.

• Working knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE, and FMVSS requirements.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and people leadership skills.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, prototype-heavy environment.

• Willingness to travel to proving grounds and supplier sites.
