Job Summary and Qualifications

In partnership with the Director, the Program Support Coordinator will directly supervise the office assistants and will perform a variety of leadership, clerical, scheduling, registration, and receptionist activities with a primary focus on process improvement and patient satisfaction.

What will you do in this role:

  • Responsible for supervision, coaching, education and evaluation of office staff

  • Is accountable for the daily administrative/clerical functions of each office.

  • Oversees daily operations in accordance with best practices

  • Manages the assignments, productivity and work flow of the office staff, includes Kronos and Facility Scheduler

  • Implements scheduling procedures to ensure productive, efficient patient schedules

  • Responsible for front office operations; assists front office staff with patient registration, telephone triage, filing, chart preparation, patient scheduling and other duties

  • Utilizes creativity, innovation and PI tools to optimize scheduling, patient flow and other key office functions

  • Maintains appropriate internal controls

  • Ensures compliance of facility and HCA policies and procedures

  • Develops and implements department administrative/clerical procedures

  • Communicates effectively with leadership, physicians, co-workers, team members and customers

  • Acts as a liaison with physician practices to enhance communication.

What qualifications will you need:

  • High School Diploma/GED required

  • Three years medical office experience required
