Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer dedicated to creating innovative products that fulfill customer needs, aligning with the processes of our Electrical Engineering Department. The role involves leading the creation and review of development-related documentation, collaborating with Product Management to design and develop circuits, and ensuring that designs meet all stated requirements, including cost and safety/regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Lead the process of creating and reviewing design documents, safety plans, and other related documentation.
Collaborate with Product Management to create design and test specifications.
Design and develop circuits using electrical engineering principles and components such as microcontrollers, semiconductors, and sensors.
Analyze existing circuits to understand behavior and identify design defects for performance improvement.
Build and test prototypes to evaluate and validate design concepts; analyze test results and propose optimization solutions.
Work with Quality and Manufacturing groups to analyze customer-reported product issues to the root cause.
Ensure compliance with corporate safety standards and relevant industry codes and regulations.
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in electrical design, schematic capture, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools.
Strong experience in circuit analysis using Electrical Engineering principles.
Experience with analog and digital design, and safety standards such as IEC and UL.
Ability to use standard Electrical Engineering tools such as meters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field with over 2 years of experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, both locally and remotely.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, including verbal and written communication.
Capability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Derry, NH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
