Pre-Print Quality & Production Specialist
Aircraft & Commercial Enterprises, Inc. (ACE) Derby, Kansas
Aircraft & Commercial Enterprises (ACE) is seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven
individual to join our Pre-Print Department. This role is responsible for inspecting custom
labels and printed materials for compliance, accuracy, and quality standards while
assisting the Pre-Print Department Manager with daily production operations.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring all printed materials meet aerospace industry
requirements and customer specifications.
Starting pay: \$17/hr
Hours: M-F 8-5

Key Responsibilities
Label & Print Inspection
Inspect custom labels and printed materials for accuracy, legibility, and compliance
with customer specifications.
Verify part numbers, revisions, lot codes, barcodes, formatting, and required
regulatory markings.
Cross-check print jobs against work orders and internal documentation.
Identify discrepancies and escalate issues before release.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure printed materials meet ACE quality standards and applicable
aerospace/customer requirements.
Support documentation accuracy and maintain inspection records.
Assist in maintaining controlled files and revision tracking.
Production Support
Assist Pre-Print Department Manager with daily print jobs and workflow.
Prepare materials for printing and final packaging.
Help manage print schedules and job prioritization.
Maintain a clean and organized production area.
Qualifications
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret work orders and basic technical documentation.
Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office experience preferred).
Previous print, production, inspection, or quality experience is a plus (but not
required).
