Aerotek Machine Operator in DEPEW, New York
Job Title: Machine Operator $18/hr
Job Description
We are seeking skilled stamping operators to join our team for the first shift (7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday). In this role, you will review blueprints, load materials into machines, monitor operations, and ensure all products meet our quality standards. Our company specializes in manufacturing filtration mesh for the medical, pharmaceutical, and automotive industries.
Responsibilities
Load materials into stamping machines, verify setup, and review blueprints before each run.
Monitor machine alignment and cutting throughout the shift to ensure consistent performance.
Inspect finished parts, measure outputs, and document production results.
Pack completed products and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
Essential Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
Proven reliability with consistent attendance and work ethic.
Strong attention to detail when monitoring machines and inspecting products.
Comfort operating machinery and following safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Contractors are not required to have previous manufacturing experience, but it is helpful.
Detail-driven and dependable, with a steady approach to monitoring machines and inspecting parts.
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.

Work Environment
Candidates will work on the production floor alongside 20-25 employees in the machine operating department. The environment is clean, well-lit, and fosters a good atmosphere with employees who are willing to train and support each other. You will be required to stand, walk, and operate machinery for an entire shift while maintaining focus and attention to detail. Safety procedures, including PPE use and safe machine-handling practices, must be followed at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of DEPEW, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
