Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician | Second Shift

Direct Wire & Cable is seeking a skilled technician with expertise in industrial electrical and mechanical systems to support our production operations. This full-time, onsite role is based in Denver, PA, with a schedule of Monday--Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The position includes on-call responsibilities one week per month and offers opportunities for overtime.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and values teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set-Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical production equipment
• Troubleshoot motors, motor controls, PLCs, and electronic systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and update records and procedures
• Support production teams with equipment scheduling and repairs
• Conduct safety compliance inspections and maintain operating certificates
• Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions
• Maintain spare parts inventory and organize work orders
• Travel between facilities located in Denver, PA and Lancaster, PA

Requirements

• High School diploma, formal relevant education and training beyond high school strongly preferred
• Understanding of Allen Bradley or Siemons Control System components
• Three years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting including tasks involving both mechanical and electrical trouble shooting
• Knowledge of PLC and motor controls

Shift & Location

• Schedule: 2nd Shift -- Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM -- 11:30 PM (overtime based on business need)
• Work Location: On-site, Denver, PA
