Description
We are looking for a Cash Application Specialist to join our team in Lancaster area. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in managing customer payments, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate processing of transactions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes and a strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer payments by accurately recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Update accounts receivable records by tracking and reconciling unpaid invoices.
• Review invoices, debits, and credits to ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Utilize accounting software systems to manage cash activity and application processes.
• Handle automated clearing house (ACH) payments and billing functions.
• Collaborate with other departments to address discrepancies and resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all cash application activities.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
• Provide support in other accounts receivable tasks as assigned.

Requirements • Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools such as Epic Software and CyberSource.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) and cash application processes.
• Experience with automated clearing house (ACH) transactions and billing functions.
• Ability to process and reconcile data with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with data processing and financial record-keeping systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
