Job Description
Drive penetration of Treasury Management services forward for U.S. Bank! We’re looking for a dynamic leader to support our ambitions growth and transformation objectives. The Payables & International Team Lead is a new role to support the TPS Technical Solutions team and will be responsible for accelerating client engagement, pipeline build and overall deal flow for strategic Payables and International products. The leader will work in close partnership with Product Management, Sales Enablement, the Working Capital team, Marketing, Client Onboarding, and most importantly, our direct sales and banking teams, to drive revenue and execute on strategic go-to-market initiatives.
Drive and support revenue growth through proactive engagement with Regional Sales Leaders and ICG Relationship Manager leaders, ensuring effective coordination of coverage, planning, and sales activities.
Collaborate across key stakeholder groups—including Sales Enablement, Product Management, Sales teams and external vendors—to enhance product offerings, commercialize new products and capabilities, advance revenue objectives, drive roadmap, and support go‑to‑market priorities, and address client needs effectively while aligning with market dynamics.
Lead, motivate, and manage, cultivate and grow a team of client-facing product subject matter experts, providing guidance and support to achieve sales targets and business objectives: oversee sales performance, set goals, coach, evolve reporting, and determine coverage model to support Treasury Management Consultants. Ensure high‑quality client interactions, requirements gathering, and efficient onboarding.
Lead a team of Technical Solutions Consultants directly supporting Sales through all stages of the sales cycle, ensuring effective client engagement and delivery of technical, product‑specific, and holistic treasury solutions across Corporate, Commercial, and Small Business segments. Team responsibilities include:
Client prospecting
Client presentations
Deal structuring
Pricing and proposal development
Coordination with technical teams
Support of strategic initiatives, training, and solution enablement
Prioritize team focus on high‑value, strategic opportunities to maximize impact and pipeline progression.
Understand the fundamentals of corporate treasury management and guide product solutioning for clients in collaboration with sales and product management teams.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans and support strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and market expansion to achieve business growth targets.
Direct market segmentation efforts and client targeting campaigns, including the development of lead lists and execution of business development outreach to clients and prospects.
Represent the organization as an industry advocate through participation in conferences, events, and external speaking engagements
Develop thought leadership materials and content that address known and emerging industry pain points and areas for optimization or improvement.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies to uphold ethical standards and mitigate risk within the sales function.

Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to define the commercialization plan for key initiatives

Support and encourage team member development
Proactively engage with Sales partners across deal stages to drive pipeline and revenue growth
Market Analysis and Strategy
Capture, communicate and track market information based on client engagement
Provide feedback to Product in the development of new products and services
Product Roadmap and Execution
Assist in defining product priorities in collaboration with leadership teams across products and organizational stakeholders
Work closely with product management teams to advise and provide client viewpoints and market intelligence, influence product development, guide commercialization activities, and deliver continuous improvement on sales tools and materials

Successfully match client pain points/business problems to proposed solutions
Possess a strong grasp of core and emerging payments
Facilitate solution demonstrations
Have excellent presentation, training, verbal, and written communication skills
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Economics or Organizational discipline related fields OR equivalent work experience.
10+ years related work experience within Commercial or Corporate Banking Product Development and/or financial services.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Proven Treasury Management sales experience
Executive presence and communication skills
Experience working with stakeholders across functional areas
Deep expertise in the complexities of treasury management products and their integration with accounting and ERP systems; strong understanding of corporate treasury management
Demonstrated consultative, solutions-based selling background and experience
Strong technical and analytical acumen
Specialized knowledge of products and solutions in primary area of responsibility as well as related products and solutions offered by other business lines
Expert proficiency demonstrating complex/software-based solutions
Proficient in working effectively with a variety of function groups to assemble customer solutions
Strength in building relationships, problem solving and business process improvement
Knowledge of SalesForce

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $149,515.00 - $175,900.00
