Rate of Pay: $148,970.00 - $195,000.00 per year

Duties: Develops, implements, and maintains the project safety program for a safe work environment. Creates and influences safety culture as a mentor and model; Conducts job site tours and safety inspections and leads by example to ensure that policies, procedures, environmental programs and safety standards are followed; Conducts site and safety inspections, attends progress meetings, leads by example, reviews incidents, near misses, HSE reports, and statistics, and effects change to ensure that project safety standards, legislation, and environmental programs are followed; Liaises with clients to ensure that projects are constructed as per quality and safety standards, and contract; Leads to secure new work by participating in estimates, working with trade contractors, and/or participating in proposals and presentations; Oversees the development and implementation of quality management plan and quality culture with stakeholder buy-in; Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality, cost, and/or schedule benefit to the client while maintaining value-added outcomes as part of our solution provider service where warranted; Develops or oversees the Project Execution Plan (PEP) with the superintendent; Oversees and monitors project performance status reports for schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, safety and environment, cost forecast, and quality control, and QUEST programs; Manages risk of design quality, design schedule, and design compliance to contract obligations; Oversees and verifies progress preparation payments to clients and trade contractors, and monitors progress; Understands and actively manages client expectations, client project-specific success criteria (CPSSC), contract, and relationships; Manages project team, client representative, consultant, and trade contractor relationships; Communicates and monitors that adequate resources are maintained by the design team for timely response to the submittal schedule; Oversees timely reviews of subcontractors' submittals for compliance with scope, design documentation, and coordination with other disciplines; Attends the design management meetings, led by the prime consultant, communicating PCL's needs and requirements, and escalates issues for resolution; Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors project team, including direct and indirect reports to this position and project coordinators and managers on the same or multiple sites; Involved in selecting, onboarding, and placing staff to assigned projects; Manages complex project organizational structure; Oversees project reporting procedure setup (e.g., labor, material, cost reports, site office procedures, and document control; Analyzes schedules and implements change; Initiates, oversees, negotiates, and issues subcontracts and major purchase orders and monitors their progress and schedule; Understands, communicates, and proactively manages contract and documents. Due to the nature of construction projects, work may be required at various unanticipated locations nationwide; however, the primary reporting location will be the U.S. headquarters in Denver, CO, with domestic travel limited to less than 10%.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Management, or related field. In lieu of the above, employer will accept 7 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.

Position also requires some experience in the following: Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide solutions for Medium and High Voltage (MV/HV) electrical systems and Plant Process and Control Systems; Reading and interp eting Single Line Diagrams (SLD), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID); Knowledge about PLCs, SCADA systems, or other similar control systems; Setup and tests of instrumentation and control devices, including sensors, transmitters, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs); Use of testing and calibration tools such as Multimeters, HART Communicator, 4--20 mA simulators for loop checks and simulations of electrical and process devices; and Experience in Construction Site Safety, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
