Center For High Impact Weather Studies Project Manager Remote in Denver, Colorado
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and coordinate complex organizational projects from planning through completion. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across departments and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and performance milestones
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
- Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations for leadership
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, funding requirements, and quality standards
- Facilitate meetings, track deliverables, and maintain accurate project records
- Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field
- 5--8+ years of project management experience
- Demonstrated success managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Experience with budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking
- PMP or similar certification preferred
