Rate of Pay: $88,483 to $92,500 per Year

Duties: Perform and apply quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and change management; Maintain contract with more complex subcontracted scopes and subcontract administration, including defining work scope, answering inquiries, and monitoring progress; Review and understand broader contract obligations as per the responsible project and work scopes; Assist site manager in project start-up activities; Manage change order process, including pricing, negotiating, processing, and assessing cost and schedule impact before reviewing with project manager; Perform estimates; Develop and monitor overall project schedule; Consult with designers/engineers when reviewing drawings and suggests value added or alternative construction methods or materials; Collaborate with project manager to create and issue tender packages and subcontracts on more complex scopes, and monitor their progress; Maintain, perform, and/or supervise project document control and procedures (administering RFIs, shop drawing and submittal process, maintaining as-built drawings, etc.) (BLDG and CIVIL); Assist the project team lead in monitoring the design team for timely response to the submittal schedule; Participate in reviews of subcontractors' submittals for compliance with scope, design documentation, and coordination with other disciplines against the design documentation prior to forwarding to the design team for their review; Work with project manager and superintendent help manage overall project performance on more complex projects or scopes as per site HSE, cost management, schedule, quality, and status and progress reporting; Provide proactive leadership for safety and quality programs; Prepare and track progress claims and estimates on more complex scopes. Due to the nature of construction projects, work may be required at various unanticipated locations nationwide; however, the primary reporting location will be the U.S. headquarters in Denver, CO, with domestic travel limited to less than 10%.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. In lieu of the above, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Position requires some education or experience in the following: Completing final cost estimates, adding all labor, equipment, material data, pricing, documentation, overhead and profit margins and producing a final tender submission for review and approval by management; Bluebeam Revu; Soliciting competitive pricing from trade contractors and suppliers for pursuit support; Conducting detailed analysis of contract documents and specifications to determine overall project requirements; Completing material quantities and construction equipment lists; Generating RFIs for review after reviewing specifications and drawings; Performing and applying quantity takeoffs and surveys to manage contract progress, reporting, and monitoring progress.
