Job Overview
iCIMS is seeking a Product Strategy & Operations Analyst with a strong strategy and financial orientation to help drive product strategy, investment decisions, product portfolio performance, and long-term growth. This role partners closely with Product and Executive Leadership to evaluate market opportunities, quantify business impact, and ensure that product roadmaps are aligned to revenue, profitability, and customer value.
Reporting directly to the Chief Product Officer, you will turn data into strategic insight, connect product outcomes to financial results, and help answer the question: “Where should we invest and why?”.

Responsibilities
Product and Portfolio Strategy:
Support development of multi-year product strategy and portfolio investment plans
Evaluate new product and feature opportunities using market, customer, and financial lenses
Build TAM/SAM/SOM models and quantify addressable value pools
Conduct competitive and market landscape analysis to guide positioning and differentiation
Partner with Product leaders to prioritize investments across the portfolio
Financial and Business Impact Analysis:
Build business cases and ROI models for new investments and initiatives
Link product usage/adoption metrics to revenue, retention, and margin outcomes
Analyze pricing, packaging, and monetization opportunities
Evaluate financial performance of existing products and recommend optimization actions
Partner with Finance on forecasting and scenario modeling
Partner with Corporate Development to support M&A case development and integration initiatives
KPI, Outcomes, and Performance Management:
Define and track product financial KPIs: ARR, NRR/GRR, contribution margin, attach/expansion
Build dashboards tying product activity to commercial results
Identify drivers of growth, churn, expansion, and product profitability
Support quarterly business reviews and portfolio performance reviews
Strategic Initiatives and Executive Support:
Support CPO and Product leadership on strategic programs and M&A diligence
Prepare board- and ELT-level narratives on product strategy and results
Translate complex analytics into clear strategic recommendations
Lead special projects that accelerate revenue growth or cost efficiency
Qualifications
2-3 years experience in investment banking and/or private equity
Strong financial modeling and business case development experience
Proven ability to connect product metrics to revenue and profitability outcomes
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with SQL or BI tools preferred
Demonstrated ability to communicate insights and recommendations to executives
Preferred
Experience around enterprise SaaS or B2B software markets
Prior work in pricing/packaging, portfolio management, or investment prioritization
MBA or equivalent strategic/financial training a plus

Compensation and Benefits

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $85,000-$110,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, internal equity, and market data. This range aligns with our commitment to equitable and transparent compensation practices, as required by applicable law.
