Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a mid-sized litigation firm to identify a Civil Litigation Associate to join its team in Denver, Colorado. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior associate seeking hands-on litigation experience and a clear path toward partnership in a collaborative environment.

Highlights:

Civil Litigation Associate role with a focus on insurance defense and construction defect matters

Opportunity to gain significant hands-on experience early, including depositions, hearings, and trial participation

Strong mentorship and a clear track toward partnership

Hybrid schedule after training (initially 5 days in office, transitioning to 2 days in office)

Billable requirement of approximately 1700 hours annually

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience

Experience with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

Experience drafting pleadings, including dispositive motions, and managing written discovery

Experience preparing for and taking depositions

Exposure to hearings and trial preparation preferred

Insurance defense and construction defect experience strongly preferred

Prior judicial clerkship experience is a plus

Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Colorado

Strong analytical, research, and writing skills
