Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hand Coiling Assembler to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for precisely coiling and assembling wire components using hand tools and power tools within a fast-paced factory environment. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with assembly line processes will ensure the production of high-quality products that meet safety and efficiency standards. Duties
- Carefully coil wire or cable components according to specified dimensions and quality standards using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble components onto wire or cable assemblies, ensuring proper placement and secure connections.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport materials within the manufacturing facility.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with assembly equipment or materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on the assembly line.
- Follow detailed work instructions, safety protocols, and quality guidelines throughout the production process.
- Conduct inspections of finished coiled assemblies to verify accuracy, consistency, and adherence to specifications.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking parts and completed assemblies in the warehouse system.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous factory or manufacturing experience is highly preferred, especially within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is essential for success in this role.
- Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment is a plus; certification is advantageous but not required.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and assembly line operations is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and quality standards.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a busy factory setting.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
