Job Title: Gas Engineer
Location: Denver, Colorado
Type: 12 month Contract
Compensation: $36.00
Contractor Work Model: Hybrid – onsite and remote
Hours: 40.0 hours per week
Responsibilities
Supports the planning, design, and execution of gas infrastructure projects.
This role involves project scoping, engineering design, cost estimating, regulatory compliance, and construction support for new and replacement pipeline assets.
Works closely with Project Management, Operations, and external vendors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with 49 CFR Part 192 and internal company standards.
Update project tracking list with current project status.
Prepare design drawings and service spreadsheets.
Research existing asset information.
Prepare and/or review operating procedures.
Prepare project Stage Gate documentation.
Attend meetings: Project CFT’s, trainings, staff meetings, coordination meetings, etc.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD programs
Experience with Microsoft Office applications
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
