Smurfit Westrock Forklift Operator in Denver, Colorado
Location: 5050 E 50th Ave, Denver CO
Shift: Must be flexible to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift). Once training is completed, will be notified which shift will be hired on.
Overtime: Must be flexible to work daily overtime and/or Saturday overtime.
Training: will take several weeks, and will take place during day time hours.
Starting Pay: $23.41 an hour
Primary Duties:
Support the operation of a fast-paced packaging manufacturing facility
Primary duties include safely operating a lift truck or roll grab while performing a wide range of tasks in the warehouse or plant.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely and demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes and operate complex machinery, and have a desire to advance within the company.

Ability to operate various manufacturing equipment, follow specific directions, and perform other duties as assigned
Ability to work safely, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and comply with all safety regulations
Ability to read a tape measure and have basic math and computer skills
Ability to lift, push and/or pull 50 lbs., stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift
Flexibility to work longer hours; which include days, nights, and weekends
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
2+ years\u2019 experience operating a sit-down forklift is preferred
Flexibility to work longer hours; which include days, nights, and weekends
MUST be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

The starting rate is $23.41 per hour, depending on your role, level, and location. The benefits for this role may include short-term bonus incentive, health, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and paid sick leave as required by applicable state/local law, 10 days of paid vacation, and 11 days of paid holidays, subject to annual change.
