Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Embedded Systems Software Engineer, where you will apply your expertise in embedded systems application engineering and system integration. You will work in a cutting-edge environment focusing on e-mobility, bicycles, and light electric vehicles.
Responsibilities
Integrate embedded systems in e-mobility, bicycles, or light electric vehicles.
Configure, adapt, and debug embedded C/C++ software.
Implement CAN bus integration in vehicle environments.
Understand DC power systems and embedded electrical interfaces.
Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools effectively.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and system documentation.
Document all branches and versions of firmware thoroughly.
Recommend integration strategies with CAN protocols.
Maintain and manage GitHub-based firmware repositories.
Address EMC/EMI challenges specific to bicycles and compact mobility systems.
Essential Skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering.
2+ years of experience in embedded systems application engineering or system integration.
Strong embedded C/C++ programming skills.
Hands-on experience with CAN bus integration.
Proficiency in using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and documentation.
Exposure to RTOS-based systems and firmware version control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with e-bike subsystems, including motor, battery/BMS, HMI, and sensors.
Familiarity with GitHub for firmware management.
Knowledge of EMC/EMI challenges in compact mobility systems.
Mandarin language skills are a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach.
Work Environment
This is a full-time, onsite position requiring attendance 5 days a week. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
Full-Time Salary Range: $91,600 - $114,500 Relocation is/is not provided Medical, Dental, Vision insurance and other voluntary benefit options: benefits begin on the first day of the month immediately following your date of hire Eligible for 3 weeks of paid vacation + 11 holidays (9 scheduled & 2 floating) + 8 sick days. All vacation days are accrued 401(k): 3% company contribution and additional 3% company match Tuition Reimbursement
