Director of Sales Training & Development

Job Description

ConMed Corporation is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Leader to join the Advanced Surgical Sales Enablement team as Director of Sales Training. This is a leadership position with direct reports across sales training functions. The person selected will be leading sales training and development initiatives for our fast-moving sales organization. Through your own efforts and through your team, you will design, create, and deliver comprehensive training for new and tenured sales representatives across multiple platforms.

You will also lead our Events programs, including global sales meeting and trade shows. This is a field-based, remote position that is responsible for conducting virtual training and in-person training in our Denver office and in the field coaching the sales team.

What You'll Do:

Success in this position leads to career progression and growth based on your individual development plan including opportunities in sales, marketing, sales enablement, and/or sales leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of prior people management experience
• 7 + years medical device sales experience and documented success required.
• Ability to travel is required. Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%
• Bachelor's Degree

Other Attributes:

• ConMed Advanced Surgical medical device experience strongly preferred
• Previous Sales training (including as a field sales trainer) and / or marketing experience strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to comply with hospital mandated vendor credentialing requirements including immunizations and vaccinations.
• Strong organizational and time management ability
• Demonstrated ability to work within a cross-functional team environment
• High level of energy, self-motivated and self-directed
• Working knowledge of High spot or other Learning Management Systems preferred

Disclosure as required by applicablelaw, the annual base salary range for this position is $169,000 - $215,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
