Our client, a leading organization in the technology and asset management sector, is seeking a dedicated CMDB Configuration Manager to join their team.
As a CMDB Configuration Manager, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Asset and Configuration Management team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CMDB Configuration Manager
Location: Denver, Colorado (hybrid)
Pay Range: $50-55/hour, based on experience
What's the Job?
Oversee and improve the quality, accuracy, and compliance of Configuration Item (CI) data within the ServiceNow CMDB.
Lead audits and reconciliations of assets and CIs, ensuring data integrity and proper lifecycle management.
Manage integrations and troubleshoot data ingestion processes to maintain reliable data flows from third-party sources.
Enforce standards for hardware configuration and asset-to-service relationships aligned with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure asset lifecycle processes are followed and data governance is maintained.
What's Needed?
Proven experience managing a ServiceNow CMDB, including Data Manager, Attestation, and CMDB Health modules.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow IntegrationHub, ETL processes, and third-party data sources.
Strong understanding of the relationship between asset records and Configuration Items (CIs).
Solid knowledge of ITIL v4 practices, especially Service Configuration Management and Asset Management.
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
