Microsoft Corporation is hiring a Cloud Network Engineering (ref. Code ODP10025163085415 in One Microsoft Way, REDMOND, WA 98052. Duties: Design and develop local area networks (LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN), and facilitate network implementation. Create network design documentation and collaborates with cross functional teams to facilitate the deployment and development of data centers or network sites. Test, analyze, and validate network designs, hardware, and telemetry data to identify issues. Develop, utilize, or advocate for the adoption of automated testing and validation procedures. Suggest improvements to network devices, firmware, or configurations to increase efficiency, improve performance, reduce operational burden, minimize human error, and prevent bugs or service interruptions. Telecommuting permitted 100% from any location in the U.S.. Requirements: Education and experience: Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Network Security, Telecommunications, Database Design, or a related field and 24 months of experience in a computer/network engineering occupation. Specific Skills: Requires 24 months of experience in each of the following: Managing end-to-end delivery of project lifecycles, including gathering requirements, project planning, execution and delivery; Leveraging JIRA for project management, including to track progress, assign tickets, and meet timelines, quality standards, and SLAS; Content management, web development, and cross-platform integration; Digital Asset Management; XML, JSON, HTML, or CSS; and Python, Java, or JavaScript. The offered base pay range for this specific position (job code ODP10025163085415), based in One Microsoft Way, REDMOND, WA 98052, is $151,100 - $181,100 per year. Microsoft has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
