Job Title: Associate Electrical Engineer
Location: 999 18th Street, Suite 1825N, Denver, CO 80202
Duties: Perform supporting engineering calculations and analysis with direction from lead engineer(s). Independently perform supporting engineering calculations and analysis with limited direction from lead engineer(s). Perform engineering design for power systems. Perform engineering design for controls systems. Perform engineering design for fire alarm systems. Perform engineering design for telecommunications systems. Perform interdisciplinary coordination with direction from lead engineer(s). Perform interdisciplinary coordination with no direction from lead engineer(s). Perform engineering analysis and feasibility studies. Perform tunnel inspections as FHWA certified NTIS Inspector Write engineering analysis reports. Perform engineering support for projects in construction with direction from lead engineer(s). Perform Engineering support for projects in construction with little to no direction from lead engineer(s). Perform Code analysis and identify/solve engineering problems. Salary Salary $101,608. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field plus three (3) years' experience as an Electrical Engineer or related role. Must have experience in designing electrical systems in compliance with local and national electrical codes and IEEE standards, including load calculations, grounding, short-circuit studies, and voltage drop analysis; preparing electrical design drawings and deliverables such as one-line diagrams, riser diagrams, panel schedules, power and lighting layouts, and grounding details; using design software such as AutoCAD and Revit to develop electrical drawings and models; and applying programming tools, such as VBA in Excel, to automate and streamline electrical engineering calculations.
