Applying Lean and Six Sigma principles to optimize manufacturing processes and improve cost, quality, and delivery

Analyzing customer specifications and flowing requirements into manufacturing processes and documentation

Partnering with product engineering, manufacturing leadership, and support teams to achieve business unit objectives

Designing and improving process layouts, workstations, tooling, and fixtures to enhance product flow and operator performance

Supporting new program introductions through standard cost hour development and manufacturing cost analysis

Resolving manufacturing process issues using structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis techniques

Supporting a strong safety culture by adhering to safe work practices and contributing to health, safety, and environmental initiatives

Candidate skills & requirements

At Safran Electrical & Power, we value service‑oriented team players who demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to adapt to our dynamic, innovative environment.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or quality processes

Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

Strong problem‑solving skills, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation

Ability to interpret blueprints and technical documentation

Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions
