Cooks, Short Order: Scout Hotel and Resort Management, LLC dba Corsair & Cross Rip Oceanfront Resort located in Dennis Port, MA on Cape Cod in Barnstable County: Temporary, Full-time, 05/15/2026-10/15/2026, at least 36 hours per week, 4 days per week, days may vary; shift required to work is: 8:00am-5:00pm. Overtime may be available. (1) Opening. Will train to prepare and cook menu items that require only a short preparation time. This includes preparation and assembly of pre-prepared food items including burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches, chicken and shrimp cabobs, salads, breakfast sandwiches, parfaits, pastries, fruit cups, pizzas, and waffles. Cooked to order but not made from scratch. Requires use of multiple and various kitchen hand tools, spoons, forks, knives, spatulas, pizza ovens, gas stove top and gas grill. Plate, garnish and store food inventory properly. Practice sanitary food procedures and be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the work area and equipment. No education or prior work experience is required. On the job training is provided. \$21.91 p/hour or \$32.87 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 p/day during travel to a maximum of \$68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer will use a single work week for computing wages starting Sunday at 12:01am and ending Saturday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Friday (bi-weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted bi-weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is \$135 per week and is paid directly by employee to employer each pay period. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to the worksite.
