Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Pool Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting the construction, installation and renovation of residential and commercial swimming pools. Ideal candidates will have strong physical stamina,experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to work effectively outdoors. Previous Pool or Aquatics experience. Landscaping experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with excavation, grading, and site preparation for pool construction
Operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini-excavators, and other machinery as needed
Handle materials such as concrete, rebar, plumbing components, and pool equipment
Install plumbing lines, electrical conduit, steel reinforcement, and other structural components
Support gunite/shotcrete crews during pool shell installation
Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying, and operating hand tools
Perform landscaping duties such as leveling soil, installing topsoil, sod, mulch, gravel, and assisting with final yard restoration
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
Wear and maintain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and work boots
Follow all safety protocols and report hazards to supervisors
Assist skilled tradespeople (plumbers, electricians, tile/stone installers, etc.) as needed
Complete additional construction-related tasks assigned by the site supervisor or foreman
Qualifications
Previous experience in Pool construction, landscaping, or a related field preferred
Experience operating skid steers, excavators, or similar equipment strongly preferred
Ability to lift 50-80 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred
Commitment to following PPE and job site safety requirements
Work Environment
Outdoor, physically demanding environment
Exposure to dirt, dust, noise, heat, and heavy equipment
Full-time, with potential overtime during peak seasons
