Supports the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications networks, including internet, television, telephone services, and data centers. This is an entry-level position that provides comprehensive on-the-job training in fiber optic telecommunications.
The role involves learning to safely operate specialized equipment, preparing, installing, and terminating fiber optic cables, and performing a variety of construction and manual labor tasks in support of project completion. No prior fiber optic experience is required; however, candidates with a construction background or hands-on work experience are strongly preferred.
Schedules: Local M-F and Traveling (7 on 7 off) Openings!

Starting Pay - $20.00-25.00/hour depending on experience
Full time position with full benefits!
Job Requirements:
· Valid US Driver's license (Clean driving record required - MVR requirement for employment)
· Lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
· Willing to travel out of town or out of state to job sites
· Willing to work (7 days on 7 days off) schedule.
- Install, terminate, and splice fiber optic cables in various environments.
- Conduct network installation and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Utilize testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on fiber optic systems.
- Collaborate with service technicians to diagnose and resolve network problems efficiently.
- Document all work performed, including installation details and maintenance records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
· Self-motivated and able to work under minimal supervision
· Ability to read and understand maps, documents, enclosure forms, drawings, and diagrams relative to each project scope
· Ability to define and solve problems in the field to ensure job completion
· Ability to work safely and ensure others are working safely
· Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
