Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in Delta, British Columbia
Aerotek is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for our client located in Delta, BC
This position requires a variety of skills for the production and assembly of our products. Our assembly is not complicated; we have control of our processes which makes training easy. We are looking for someone with a basic mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic and a good attitude.
Experience with a variety of hand tools in a production assembly / manufacturing environment (wrenches, ratchets, impact guns etc..)
Involves the assembly / painting / testing / shipping and packaging of hydraulic winches
Ability to read and understand BOM (bill of materials) and shop workorder paperwork
Ability to operate handheld scanner
Physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs
Able to follow specific work instructions
Able to do repetitive tasks with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to adapt to changes in priority upon direction from management
Able to identify potential quality issues and alert management
Strong work ethics with a positive attitude
Demonstrated proof of regular attendance with previous employers
Supports the team to complete assigned tasks on time
Willingness to switch between tasks based on production needs
Work Schedule
Morning Shift:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Wage
- $19-$25 an hour
