Job Title: Assembler
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will play a critical role in the disassembly and reassembly of boats, including propulsion systems, consoles, decks, seating, motors, and tubes on the exterior. You will ensure the quality and standards of workmanship are met, while adhering to safety and quality protocols.
Responsibilities
Disassemble and reassemble boats, propulsion systems, consoles, decks, seating, motors, and tubes.
Maintain a clean work area and assist around the shop.
Install fuel systems, auto inflation systems, hang motors, and replace wiring.
Follow drawing instructions for assembly and building of boats.
Use hand tools and power tools efficiently, respecting time constraints.
Ensure assembly meets quality and workmanship standards.
Collaborate with supervisors, team leaders, and fellow team members.
Achieve daily quality and delivery targets through standardized work.
Adhere to company safety and quality protocols.
Maintain an orderly work area and complete necessary paperwork.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
2-3 years of professional mechanical experience.
Experience with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and follow drawing instructions.
Good English communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Ownership of required tools.
Experience in assembling boats, cars, trucks, or trailers is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delta, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
