Novus Foods Production Support in Delphos, Ohio
The Production Support role is essential to keeping our production and distribution operations running smoothly. This hybrid position combines ingredient prep, production line assistance, packaging, and palletizing all while upholding food safety, quality, and efficiency standards. From staging materials to wrapping finished pallets, you'll be at the heart of what keeps product moving and customers happy.
Responsibilities:
Material Prep & Line Support:
- Prepare raw ingredients for mixing based on batch sheets and daily schedules
- Operate pallet jacks and support the movement of materials and packaging supplies
- Supply production lines with correct packing items, labels, and materials
Production Assistance:
- Operate and adjust basic production equipment as needed
- Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and correct specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in line with 5S and GMP standards
Packaging & Palletizing:
- Assemble and label boxes, close containers, and wrap pallets per specifications
- Verify correct case configurations and layer counts for finished goods
- Tag pallets and move completed product to cold storage or staging areas
Quality & Safety Compliance:
- Follow all SOPs, HACCP plans, GMPs, and Food Safety requirements
- Record daily logs accurately and report any deviations in quality or equipment
- Participate in huddles, safety meetings, and continuous improvement activities
- Adhere to all PPE and Lock Out Tag Out requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in warehouse, production, or food manufacturing preferred
- Basic math and documentation skills
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods
- Comfortable working in cold, wet, or refrigerated environments
- Pallet jack experience (manual or powered) strongly preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment:
- Standing, bending, lifting, and walking regularly
- Exposure to refrigerated spaces (38°F--45°F), production noise, and strong food odors
- Frequent handling of raw materials and packaging supplies
- Use of PPE including gloves, hairnets, safety glasses, hearing protection, and more
Pay: $16.00 - $19.50 per hour
Schedule: 12-Hour 1st and 3rd Shifts available. 1st shift (5am-5pm), 3rd Shift (6pm-6am)
