Job Title: Color Lab Technician (Night Shift)
Job Description
As a Color Lab Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the Refinish Color Matching team by preparing color samples for evaluation and formulation. Located in our Delaware, Ohio Plant, and reporting directly to the Color Lab Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include the preparation of paint mixtures, reduction and spraying of paint samples, and maintaining cleanliness in the lab areas.
Responsibilities
Mix and spray paint samples to meet production demands.
Acquire color formulations from the Color Matcher and prepare sample mixtures based on given paint recipes.
Ensure accurate dispensing and labeling of color lab paint samples.
Obtain wet paint samples from mixing stations and spray them according to predefined specifications.
Maintain laboratory equipment in a clean condition.
Essential Skills
Experience in lab tech roles with a focus on chemistry and biology.
Knowledge of wet chemistry, paint, and pigment handling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
BS or AS degree is preferred.
Consideration for candidates with a steady work history and good tenure in past roles, especially in fast-paced, on-your-feet environments.
Must be a US citizen or green card holder due to export controls.
Work Environment
This position is a night shift role, from 10pm to 6:30am. Training for the first month will occur on either the first or second shift, with a preference for the second shift. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety shoes will be provided, and the contractor will be fitted for a respirator, requiring them to be clean-shaven on the first day.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
