POSITION SUMMARY
The Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer role is responsible for technical documentation. In this role, individuals will use engineering CAD data to develop and maintain installation, maintenance, and product specification documents. The Technical Writer will also support creation and maintenance of compliant ISO documentation.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Revise existing installation and maintenance documents in accordance with approved ECO forms to provide accurate installation data for existing products.
Create detailed installation and maintenance documents coordinated with Product Release using standard formatting and providing accurate installation data for new products.
Create and maintain a library of typical installation details.
Create, maintain, and communicate generic installation and maintenance documents.
Interact with Engineering team and Field Serviceteam to ensure installation documents are complete and comprehensible.
Support product compliance by identifying and communicating safety and regulatory concerns in designs.
Revise existing product cut sheet and profile sheet documents in accordance with document control standards and product revisions.
Create product Cut Sheet and Profile Sheet documents in accordance with Product Release using standard formatting and providing relevant, accurate detail of product specifications.
Support creation and maintenance of ISO documents such as Standard Work, and Engineering Standards.
Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Exhibit excellent people, communication, and organizational skills
Knowledge of assembly and installation processes
Associate level degree preferred
Excellent grammar and proof-reading skills required
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
Experience with Adobe Reader, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop required
Experience with SolidWorks, SW Composer, AutoCAD, and Dynamics 365 F&O preferred
The starting hourly range is $30.00, - $37.00 depending upon qualifications and experience. The posted pay range reflects the expected compensation for a fully qualified candidate. Starting pay may be above or below this range based on job-related factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and training needs
In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for a profit-sharing opportunity.
